Residence permit
To qualify for residency, your new employee must meet a number of conditions. We check whether the general conditions for expats as well as the additional conditions for highly skilled migrants are met. We then submit the application for a residence permit for the knowledge migrant and, if desired, for his or her family members as well.

The residence permit can be picked up at our IND desk on the next Thursday after arrival in the Netherlands.

Depending on the country of origin, a knowledge migrant may need a visa. Your new employee will receive from us all the necessary information to apply for a visa.
