Hiring a highly skilled migrant?
As an employer, have you worked with Highly skilled migrants or international scientific researchers before? And have you already been recognized as a sponsor by the IND? Then you can fast-track all formalities for new Highly skilled migrants. In addition, you need to send fewer supporting documents.
Are you not yet a recognized sponsor?
Then check out this information first.
At Welcome Center Food Valley, we help you bring a Highly skilled migrant to the Netherlands quickly and easily. From consulting, reviewing and executing applications to providing information to your new employee; we take care of everything for you all at once.
Residence permit
To qualify for residency, your new employee must meet a number of conditions. We check whether the general conditions for expats as well as the additional conditions for highly skilled migrants are met. We then submit the application for a residence permit for the knowledge migrant and, if desired, for his or her family members as well.

What do we test for, among other things?
Whether the salary of the highly skilled migrant is market-based.
Whether other conditions apply.
The residence permit can be picked up at our IND desk on the next Thursday after arrival in the Netherlands.
Visa and work permit
Depending on the country of origin, a knowledge migrant may need a visa. Your new employee will receive from us all the necessary information to apply for a visa. Applying for a work permit is not necessary to bring a highly skilled migrant to the Netherlands. What do we test for, among other things? What country is your new employee from? Does your new employee meet the conditions of a residence permit for a highly skilled migrant? Is a visa required, and if so, what type? Do any other terms and conditions apply?

“Get support from people who are knowledgeable. In many cases, it is quite complex to comply with all the rules and regulations.
The WCFV has the necessary expertise. That way you avoid fines that are imposed if you don’t comply.”
