Discover the team, our departments, the unique in-house desks of IND & municipality and the Welcome Desk for expats.
Thanks to more than half a century of experience, this team ensures that international employees can soon start working in the Netherlands. Immigration advisors are on hand to arrange the proper procedures and formalities, give advice and welcome expats.
They have extensive and up-to-date knowledge of immigration law, legal procedures and documentation processes.
Because knowledge migrants come to the Food Valley from all over the world, there are many factors that can influence their arrival. These developments are constantly evolving. This team ensures that we continue to innovate so that our services meet the needs of businesses and expats.
This team also advises on our services, provides new services and handles partner agreements. And is therefore the point of contact for interested companies.
Despite the name of this team, you also find them in the foreground. For example, they plan the appointments with the IND and the municipality, help expats with their questions about life in their new environment, support the immigration advisors and take care of administrative work. You will also encounter them at events and workshops and are the point of contact for many of our services.
The entire Food Valley but also internationals from all over the world may know how to find us. Therefore, the communications department makes sure that the story of the Welcome Center is told in all colors.

Is your new non-EU employee coming to the Netherlands without a visa or has his residence permit been extended? Then the IND needs biometric data to create a residence card. As soon as it arrives, we will schedule an appointment to come pick up the residence permit.
Every resident of the Netherlands must have a citizen service number (BSN). This number is needed when opening a bank account and buying insurance, among other things. The BSN is provided as soon as a person registers with the municipality in the Personal Records Database (BRP).
for questions
Especially for our expats, there is the Welcome Desk. We can imagine you have a lot of questions about your new surroundings. Even if you have lived here for a while. That’s why you can walk into our office with no obligation and we’ll help you with anything you have questions about. Whether you have questions about child care, phone connection or the grocery store; we are happy to help.
