Link to the report:
English version:
This study used both the results of a questionnaire completed by hundreds of employers and additional interviews and group discussions with 34 employers.
Key findings from the study include:
- Employers see more advantages than disadvantages in hiring international graduates.
- Diversity – along with personal qualities and specialized knowledge and innovation – is cited as the most important advantage.
- For international graduates with a Dutch diploma, additional advantages seen are: quality of education and familiarity with Dutch society and culture.
- Obstacles are seen mainly in language barriers and administrative procedures.
The Report also contains a chapter with the needs of employers with respect to higher education institutions and the government.
On July 8, Nuffic will present the report’s findings online.
