As a child, I grew up in an expat family. I enjoyed living in various special places around the world, while at the same time learning the challenges of being an expat.

Expert in relocations and immigrations

In the end, I helped some two thousand expat families settle down and guided many colleagues through the world of relocation and immigration. I also set up and supervised a complete quality process – from customer satisfaction to certification – on several occasions.

In this way I saw in practice what expats, employers and other stakeholders need and appreciate, what works well and where the pitfalls lie. As advisor, trainer, coach, quality manager and sparring partner I now use this broad knowledge and experience to increase the success of your relocations..

I started as a freelancer at then Expat Center Food Valley. First as an immigration advisor, then for just under a year as team leader a.i. Since September 2022 I have been employed as a permanent business development advisor and I have the wonderful task of further developing the new services of the Welcome Center Food Valley and I am the point of contact for foreign companies and interested parties in the region.

It is no surprise that I have stuck with the WCFV; this industry continues to fascinate me. As a child, I grew up in an expat family and enjoyed living in various special places around the world, while at the same time learning the challenges of being an expat.

Saskia van Donkelaar & familie

I live in beautiful Haarlem with my husband and 2 children. On weekends you can find me on the soccer field as a loyal supporter. I love to travel and it seems great to show my children the places where I lived until I was 13 years old, Borneo and Oman are at the top; great memories!
